South Dakota State students interested in trying out for the NCAA Division I women's volleyball team may participate in an open tryout on Jan. 15-16, 2013 at Frost Arena.

Qualified candidates must be full-time, female students enrolled at SDSU in the spring 2013 semester. Interested candidates must demonstrate NCAA Division I skills, as determined by the Jackrabbit coaching staff, to make the Jackrabbit volleyball team.

Eligible prospects must bring the following to the tryout:
- Copy of a physical within the last calendar year of tryout dates
- Copy (front and back) of a valid insurance card
- Results of a sickle cell test

Athletes must provide the necessary equipment for tryout process, and must pre-register by contacting head volleyball coach Phil McDaniel by email at Phil.McDaniel@sdstate.edu

Tryout schedule:
Jan. 15 - 6:30-8 a.m.
Jan. 16 - 6:30-8 a.m.
