South Dakota State senior Kristina Martin earned The Summit League Offensive Player of the Week honors for the third time this season after leading the Jackrabbits to a 3-0 record, The Summit League regular season title and the top seed in the league tournament later this week.

Martin averaged 5.56 kills on .359 hitting, 3.78 digs, 1.22 blocks, 0.56 assists and 0.33 service aces per game last week, and became just the fifth player in SDSU history to record at least 1,000 kills and at least 1,000 digs. She also finished the week needing just 33 kills to become the SDSU all-time kills leader.

She posted match-highs in kills in each of the three matches and also posted double-doubles vs. Centenary and Oral Roberts, her 13th and 14th of the season. Against the Ladies, she committed just one error and finished with a .447 hitting percentage. Against the Golden Eagles, she committed three errors in 38 attempts for a .395 hitting percentage.

Martin and the Jackrabbits take on Western Illinois on Friday in Fort Wayne, Ind., in the semi-final round of The Summit League Tournament.
