South Dakota State University's Kyle Ochsner has been named Summit League Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Jacrkabbits to a dual victory at the University of North Dakota on Dec. 8.

Ochsner posted two event wins in helping SDSU remain undefeated (3-0) in dual meets this season. The senior won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1 minute, 43.14 seconds and the 500 freestyle in 4:42.19 — both of which rank seventh in the league this season. He was also a member of the winning 200 medley relay team that recorded at time of 1:35.28. Ochsner closed his day with a second-place finish in the 200 individual medley, clocking a time of 1:58.37.

The Jackrabbits return to competition Jan. 5 at the Tampa Relays.
