Three Jackrabbits earn Academic All-League honors
The league’s two CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-American selections, Brayden Carlson and Jordan Dykstra earned their second Academic All-League honor, with Marcus Heemstra joining them as a first-time selection.
“We’re very excited to have three of the six players selected,” head coach Scott Nagy said. “I think it gives you an idea of the kind of young men they are and the kind of program that we’re certainly trying to run here, but it’s more based on what these guys have done, and we’re very proud of them.”
Omaha’s John Karhoff joins Carlson and Dykstra as repeat selections, with North Dakota State’s Chris Kading and South Dakota’s Brandon Bos rounding out the final three selections.
A CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-American First Team selection and All-Summit League Second Team selection, Carlson maintains a 3.94 GPA in Ecominics.
