South Dakota State University forward Jennie Sunnarborg has been named Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances in two Jackrabbit victories last week, league officials announced Tuesday.

Sunnaraborg, a sophomore from Osseo, Minn., posted the first two double-doubles of her career as the Jackrabbits moved into a three-way tie for the Summit League lead. In a victory over Oakland (Mich.) on Jan. 23, Sunnarborg set career highs with 20 points and 11 rebounds, adding four blocked shots. Two nights later, against IPFW, Sunnarborg again tallied 20 points, while collecting 10 rebounds and a career-high four assists.

In the two games, Sunnarborg shot 73.9 percent (17-of-23) from the field and was a perfect 6-for-6 at the free throw line.

SDSU, 11-8 overall and 7-2 in The Summit League, travels to co-leader Oral Roberts on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 2:05 p.m. from the Mabee Center on the ORU campus in Tulsa, Okla.
