The South Dakota State University women's basketball team will face Xavier in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Tipoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time (1:30 p.m. Central) at the Cintas Center on the Xavier campus. The game will be televised on ESPN2 (standard definition) in the state of South Dakota and available nationwide on ESPN3.com. The Jackrabbits enter their third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance with a 19-13 overall record. SDSU, seeded 15th, has won eight consecutive games and 11 of 12. Xavier, champion of the Atlantic-10 Conference, is 28-2.
Seventh-seeded Louisvile (Ky.) and 10th-seeded Vanderbilt (Tenn.) will play at noon Eastern in Sunday's opening game.
Ticket orders will be processed at the Jackrabbit Ticket Office starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Orders may be made in person or over the phone by calling 1-866-GO JACKS. Ticket orders must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday; all tickets will be picked up at the Cintas Center will call window.
