South Dakota State senior goalkeeper Kat Donovan was named The Summit League Co-Defensive Women's Soccer Player of the Week for her performance on Saturday, Oct. 29...
This is the third time this season that Donovan has earned the honor (Oct. 3 and Oct. 24).
Donovan tied a season high with eight saves in the 3-1 win against North Dakota State.
During the game, Donovan saw her streak of consecutive shutout minutes reach 832:23, the 12th-best all-time in NCAA history.
For the weekend, Donovan had a 1.00 goals against average and a .889 save percentage.
The effort helped SDSU secure the No. 1 seed for The Summit League Tournament this weekend.
Donovan has started every game and played every minute in goal for the Jacks this season. She has made 67 saves with a save percentage of .817, has a goals against average of 0.77 and recorded 11 shutouts in the 12 SDSU wins.
