Braffet named All-Great Lakes Team...
South Dakota State women's soccer player Kayla Braffet was named to the All-Great Lakes Third Team for her performance this season.
Braffet, a senior, started all 20 games for the Jackrabbits. She scored five goals and assisted on five more to tie for the team lead with 15 points. Two of Braffet's five goals were game-winning goals.
Braffet leaves SDSU as one of the most prolific offensive players in school history. She finished fourth in career scoring (56 points), tied for fourth in goal scoring (19), second in shots attempted (207), second in shots on goal (93) and tied for first in assist scoring (18).
Braffet is the only player from The Summit League to be named to the All-Great Lakes Teams.
Teams are determined based on a vote by coaches from the respective region. The list of teams can be found in its entirety on the NSCAA website.
