Rain ends softball season

Rain in Brookings forced South Dakota State to cancel the Jackrabbits final series of the season against IUPUI.

Already pushed back because of rain on Friday, more rain on Saturday morning created unplayable field conditions, thus forcing SDSU officials to cancel the series, thus ending the 2012 Jackrabbit softball season.

The Jackrabbits finish the season with a 13-27-1 overall record, 7-5-1 at home and 5-16 in The Summit League under first-year head coach Kim Aggabao.
