Jackrabbit Athletics partnered with Hy-Vee and Bel Brands to host the annual Hy-Vee Fast Break Clinic on Feb. 9.

Three hundred youth had the opportunity to "run with the Jackrabbits" by participating in the annual Hy-Vee Fast Break Clinic.

Jackrabbit Athletics invited kids (K-8) from Brookings and the surrounding area to Frost Arena to learn basketball skills and techniques from the head coach Aaron Johnston, the Jackrabbit women's basketball team and the women's basketball coaching staff.

The morning involved stretches led by SDSU basketball players, station rotations that addressed shooting, rebounding, dribbling, passing and defense, a milk and cookie break and an autograph session with over one hundred SDSU student-athletes.

All children received a free t-shirt and ticket for Saturday evening's women's basketball game versus Oakland.
