Highlights from weekend action involving the South Dakota State football and volleyball teams headline this week's edition of the Jackrabbit Insider. 

Football coach John Stiegelmeier is in studio to break down his squad's 24-10 victory over Indiana State to open Missouri Valley Football Conference play. Volleyball Phil McDaniel is also in studio after his team improved to 3-1 in Summit League play this past weekend.

Every wednesday night, members of the Jackrabbit football team meet up for a tradition that is over 30 years old. Viewers will see up close a trip to the buffet unlike any other.

The SDSU soccer team opens up Summit League play this wekeend at North Dakota State and the show will look at the non-conference slate and preview league play with coach Lang Wedemeyer and senior Christa Nyblom.

Track and field athlete Philip LaVallee will sit down in the Jackrabbit Hotseat, while the 2001 SDSU volleyball team is featured on this week's Jackrabbit Yearbook.
