Williams hired as ticket manager

Christi Williams, who served as a graduate assistant for the Jackrabbit women's basketball team the past two seasons, has been named athletics ticket manager at South Dakota State University.

A native of Storm Lake, Iowa, Williams will complete a master's degree in sport pedagogy with an emphasis in sport administration this summer. She will begin her duties June 15, succeeding Erin Breczinski, who resigned earlier this spring.

In 2002, Williams earned a bachelor's degree in sport management at Wayne State (Neb.), where she played basketball for two seasons. She began her collegiate playing career at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she was an all-region selection as a sophomore.
