The Jackrabbit softball team began playing in a new, on-campus facility on April 20th, 2007, and finished their first season on the new field with a 5-6 record.

Dugouts were added in the spring of 2008.

Located on the north end of campus near Coughlin-Alumni Stadium, work on the new Jackrabbit Softball Stadium began in the fall of 2005.
