Kyle Ochsner has been named Summit League Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for his four win performance last week.

On Jan. 11 during the team's annual winter training trip in Florida, Ochsner won the 200 freestyle with a time of 1 minute, 46.34 seconds in a long course meet against Westminster (Pa.).

The freshman from Jordan, Minn., went on to win the 500 freestyle (4:53.24) and was a member of the winning 400 medley relay that clocked in at 3:37.59 during a double dual on Jan 16th against St. Louis and South Dakota.

He concluded the weekend by winning the 1650 freestyle in 16:50.22, over 10 seconds better than second place, on Jan. 17th in a single dual vs. St. Louis.

Ochsner has won eight events, including seven individual, during his impressive freshman season.

The Jackrabbits will wrap up their dual season with a double dual against North Dakota and South Dakota in Grand Forks, S.D. on Jan. 30th.
