INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - A new 800 freestyle relay record was set for the men and women Wednesday night during the opening day of the 2011 Summit League Championships.

For the women, Shauna Foor, Jessica Ferley, Andrea Budahl and Alexandra Hoffman combined to finish third in 7 minutes, 41.64 seconds to break the record set at last year's Championships.

On the men's side, the fourth place team of Chris Schreier, Kyle Avocato, Kyle Catani and Kyle Ochsner clocked in at 6:54.78, crushing the previous mark by nearly six seconds.
