ELMHURST, Ill. -- South Dakota State University sprinter Wil Hogue has been named Summit League Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Jackrabbits to a season-opening dual victory over Wisconsin-Green Bay on Nov. 2.

A sophomore from Chandler, Ariz., Hogue won two individual events and was a part of a winning relay team in the dual. He finished first and posted league-best times in the 50-yard freestyle (21.06 seconds) and 100 free (:46.51). He also swam the anchor leg on the winning and 200 medley relay team, which posted the second-fastest time in the league this season at 1:34.81.

The Jackrabbit men return to action Nov. 16, when they host a dual against the University of South Dakota.
