About the Bison Classic:
The Bison Classic is hosted by North Dakota State in the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Facility.
The teams that will be in action are: Manitoba, Minnesota, North Dakota State and South Dakota State.
The pentathlon is scheduled for Friday at 3:15 p.m. on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, the action will start with the weight throw at 10 a.m. and the running events will start at noon.
Last time out:
Last time SDSU competed was on December 8th at the Chuck Peterson Open hosted by Mankato State.
LeAndre Kennedy set third the best time in SDSU history in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.02 seconds.
Megan Bren also set a top time in SDSU history in the 60-meter dash. Bren had a time of 7.80 seconds, which is tied for fourth with Ashley Odegaard.
Cullen Mack won the men’s weight throw with a distance of 15.50 meters.
SDSU took the top three spots in the 60-meter dash with Gina Fritz, Bren and Odegaard all going one-two-three.
Bren and Fritz went one and two in the 200-meter dash.

Up next for the Jackrabbits is the Jack Johnson Classic hosted by Minnesota. The meet will take place on Saturday, January 19 at the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse in Minneapolis, Minn.
