ELMHURST, Ill. – The Summit League named three SDSU track and field athletes to the All-Academic League team today (Feb. 28). Luke Leischner, Tera Potts and Kali Olson were the three Jackrabbits named to the team for their work in the classroom and on the track.
Leischer is a wildlife and fisheries major with a 3.482 GPA.
Potts has a 4.00 GPA in nursing. At the 2013 Summit League Indoor Championships she finished second in the mile (5:02.89), fifth in the 3,000 meters (10:04.10) and 11th in the 5,000 meters (17:54.52).
Olson has a 4.00 GPA in psychology and she finished sixth in the high jump at the 2013 Summit League Indoor Championships with a height of 5’ 4.25”.
To qualify for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have at least participated in 50 percent of their team’s meets, competed in at least one full academic year at their current school and at least a 3.30 GPA.
