LINCOLN, Neb. –The South Dakota State men’s track and field team sent a small group down to the Nebraska Tune-Up, but still found top results. In the mile, Michael Krsnak finished fifth with a time of 4:14.98 and Joel Reichow set a new personal best with his time of 4:15.85.
Connor Berg placed eighth in the high jump with his height of 6’ 4.75”.
LeAndre Kennedy competed in the 60 and 200-meter dashes, he had times of 7.06 and 23.48 seconds respectively.
Kipp Kinsley placed 11th in the 3000-meter run with a time of 8:51.40.
Grant VanKeulen completed the 800-meter run in 1:58.97.
In the long jump, Jeremiah Ary took sixth with his mark of 21’ 11.00”.
The majority of the Jackrabbits competed in the South Dakota Twilight hosted by the University of South Dakota.
Laron Broadway finished tenth in the 60-meter dash with his time of 7.26 seconds and he placed tenth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.40 seconds.
Levi Winkels took fifth in the 400-meter dash with his time of 51.76 seconds.
Dylan Slaba finished sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:00.57.
In the mile, Drew Kraft finished 13th with his time of 4:28.19.
Mark Gorsuch recorded a height of 6’ 00.75” to place fifth in the high jump.
Nathaniel Schafer pole-vaulted a height of 12’ 09.50”.
In the long jump, Cory Greenway recorded a distance of 19’ 10.25”.
Ryan Ackman finished sixth in the weight throw with his mark of 51’ 09.25”.
Next weekend is The Summit League Indoor Championships hosted by the University of South Dakota; The meet will take place on February 24th and 25th at the DakotaDome.
