Student ticket policy set for USD games
Members of the Rabbit Den, the official student fan club of Jackrabbit Athletics, will have the first opportunity to claim tickets to the rivalry games beginning on Monday, Dec. 5. Rabbit Den members can claim their tickets at the Jackrabbit Ticket Office in the Stanley J. Marshall HPER Center during regular business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) throughout that week.
Membership in the Rabbit Den is $10 and provides students with a club T-shirt, early admission into basketball games and special promotional emails from Jackrabbit Athletics. Membership forms can be picked up at the Jackrabbit Ticket Office. Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check or Hobo Dough.
A limited number of tickets for the general SDSU student body will be made available at Frost Arena beginning on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 4 p.m. The Jackrabbits host Kansas State (women) and North Dakota (men) in a non-conference basketball doubleheader that evening. Students will need to show a valid student ID at a table inside the student entrance to receive the ticket, which will be loaded onto the student ID cards.
Only one ticket will be loaded per ID for each game and the student must be present with his or her ID. Students must indicate which game(s) they will be attending.
This season marks the first time SDSU will face South Dakota in men's basketball since the 2003-2004 season.
The Jackrabbit women last played South Dakota on Feb. 15, 2010 in Frost Arena, with the Jackrabbits claiming a 67-48 victory in front of 5,246 fans.
A limited number of general admission tickets for the SDSU-USD games remain on sale online or at the Jackrabbit Ticket Office. Tickets are $5 for children in grades K-12 and $20 for adults.
