South Dakota State wrestling and first-year head coach Chris Bono announced its schedule for the upcoming 2012-13 season...

In total the schedule features 15 competition dates.

The Jacks wrestle in three tournament-format competitions: Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open, UNI Open and Southern Scuffle.

In addition to the tough Western Wrestling Conference schedule, SDSU faces opponents from the Pac-12, Big 12 and Big Ten in Stanford, Missouri and Indiana, Nebraska and Northwestern.

Fans have the opportunity to see the Jacks wrestle at home eight times this season.

"I am extremely happy with our schedule," Bono said. "We wrestle three Big Ten teams, a team from out west, last season's Big 12 champion and our tough conference schedule. We host the Daktronics Open for the 20th time and wrestle at the UNI Open and Southern Scuffle. Our fans have eight opportunities to see our student-athletes compete in Frost Area with seven duals and the open. This schedule prepares us to put SDSU on the podium at the NCAA Tournament in Des Moines this season."
