Single-game tickets for all South Dakota State men's and women's home basketball games for the upcoming 2012-13 season are now on sale at the Jackrabbit Ticket Office.

Both teams will face challenging non-conference schedules featuring teams from some of the premier basketball conferences in the nation.

The defending Summit League tournament-champion men's team is slated to play 13 regular season games at Frost Arena, starting with a Nov. 13 matchup with Tennessee State. The Jackrabbits also will host an exhibition game versus Black Hills State as part of a doubleheader with the women's team on Nov. 1.

"Last season was great for our program, but the 2012-13 season allows us to show the nation once again what we can do," Jackrabbit men's basketball head coach Scott Nagy said.  "Making the NCAA Tournament brought our school tremendous national exposure.  Our team goal is to do it again."

The Jackrabbit women's team, which has qualified for the last four NCAA tournaments, begins play Oct. 28 with an exhibition game against Minnesota-Crookston. SDSU opens its home regular season slate Nov. 14 against Creighton (Neb.).

"We're very excited for the upcoming season", said Jackrabbit women's basketball head coach Aaron Johnston.  "Having Nebraska, Creighton and Marquette visiting Frost Arena helps our program continue to grow into the Summit League schedule and be prepared for the conference season."

The schedule also features a pair of doubleheaders: Nov. 28 when the women host Marquette and the men take on North Dakota, as well as Dec. 1 when the Jackrabbit women host Middle Tennessee and the men face Summit League opponent Nebraska-Omaha.

A limited number of reserved season tickets are also available starting at $225. Season tickets include all men’s and women’s regular season games in Frost Arena.

Another ticketing option is a men's or women's mini-pack that includes general admission seating for every home game for $140 — a savings of more than $45 per package.

"We want to ensure our student-athletes the best home court experience by offering a discounted package to our loyal Jackrabbit fans," Director of Athletics Justin Sell said. "These women and men give it their all every night, and fans of great basketball entertainment have no better option in the state than right here in Frost Arena."

Ticket orders can be placed online at JackrabbitTickets.com or by calling 1-866-GO JACKS during normal weekday business hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
