The South Dakota State swimming and diving teams will have a limited home schedule during the upcoming 2025-26 season.
The Jackrabbits, who will kick off the campaign Friday (Sept. 26) with an intrasquad scrimmage, will complete the home portion of their schedule in October. Both the men's and women's teams host Augustana in the Oct. 10 home opener, which will be followed by an alumni meet as part of Hobo Week festivities.
Senior Day is set for Oct. 17, when both teams take on Iowa Central. The women's team also will swim against Northern State to complete the tri-dual that day.
The final home competition for the Jackrabbit women is set for Oct. 23 against Iowa State.
SDSU officially opens the season Oct. 3 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Jackrabbit women will take on both host Nebraska and Summit League rival Omaha in a tri-dual, while the SDSU men will square off against Omaha in dual action.
Competition for the fall semester wraps up in November, with both squads competing at the Coyote Extravaganza Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 in Vermillion, followed by the St. Thomas Invite Nov. 20-22 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The Jackrabbits return to Minnesota to begin the new calendar year as the men travel to St. Cloud State for a Jan. 16 dual, followed by both teams competing the next day in a tri-dual against Minnesota and St. Thomas in Minneapolis.
Two more trips down Interstate 29 to Vermillion in successive weeks concludes the regular season. A dual between the Jackrabbits and Coyotes is tabbed for Jan. 24, while the multi-team USD Invite is slated for Jan. 30-31.
The Summit League Championships are scheduled to return to Iowa City, Iowa, with competition set for Feb. 18-21.
The Jackrabbit men posted a 4-3 record in dual competition a season ago and placed third at the Summit League Championships. The women's squad was 2-6 in dual meets and recorded a fifth-place finish out of seven teams at the league meet during the 2024-25 season.
